Haunted House Experience

This was a practical application of skills at the end of a month long technical skills course I did at Hull truck theatre. The aim was to create an eerie and realistic haunted theatre. This is an example of the projection side of the experience.
Haunted house - Creepy Mannequin
August, 2018
This effect was created during the previously mentioned Haunted house. Using a Costume mannequin and a piece of fabric, we projected a woman face which faded into this skull.
Rhinoceros

This piece was an adaptation of Eugene Ionesco's Rhinoceros. Using Projection, I backed up the complex and vivid imagery from the play. The projection in this scene was a time lapse of the seasons passing in a field to give the image that time is threat to the main character.

Rhinoceros TV's

This scene was set in an office where the characters are working for a new character. The TVs where there to give a little more context. As the scene went on, baby rhinos where added into the images projected to give the sense of their impending takeover.
Rhinoceros - Sun of Man
Matrch 7th, 2019
This segment was used to show the metamorphosis of John from human to Rhino. I used the image of the sun of man to hint at the absurd and that John was a man of culture, then chroma-keyed in a Rhinoceros beetle going through its metamorphosis to create an uncanny image.
